Step 2: MPH ONLY

Attend Navigating your Graduate Journey to Meet your Advisor

Meet the advising team by attending an online group advising session. This is a 30-minute overview of the core courses, degree requirements, processes, systems and resources. This where you will find out your advisor and schedule your meetings afterwards to remove your hold. It is also a chance to connect with your peers for the upcoming year.

Step 2: MHA & MSPH ONLY

Meet your MHA or MSPH Advisor

This is a 60-minute meeting with your advisor that will review the required courses, degree requirements, processes, systems and resources.

Step 3:

Check your Holds

To help set your academic journey for success, it is mandatory to meet with your advisor prior to registering for your first semester.

Step 4:

Register for Courses

After meeting with your advisor you can register for courses. Please see the Orientation & Important Dates page for deadlines

Step 5:

Establish Financial Aid

USF Health Financial Aid is a great resource for you. Schedule ahead of time to meet in person, via Teams or over the phone. Academic Advisors can’t answer financial Aid questions.

Step 6:

Submit Final Transcripts

If you are completing your final semester and have not submitted final transcripts please submit them upon a finalized transcript to prevent getting a hold in the fall semester.
